New Book: The Last Song

I had to return my book to the library and I couldn't re-check it out. So I started a new book. And this book is called The Last Song. I have found this book to be very intriguing. I have found that there is a girl named Ronnie and she has to go with her brother to go see their father. He has been out of their life for who knows how long, and Ronnie does not want to go and see him. But unfortunately, he mother, Kim, is making her go and see him. But on the other hand their father can't  wait to see them both.

They take a trip down to see their dad and on the way Ronnie and her mother are talking about things and Ronnie is just making everything her mother says sound mean and cruel. And on the way her brother sees a Farris wheel behind some trees and he asks his mother if and when they get there, to his dad's house if they could go.  But then Ronnie cuts in and says something negative again. Then they finally get there and Ronnie then leave to take a walk to try to get away from her "so-called dad" as she calls it. That's as far as I have gotten. :)
